  10. I got a $200 2.6 gallon-per-minute Chinese tankless seven years ago on eBay and it's still working great for our two-person household. Most of the other ones I see (Bosch, Rheem, Rinnai, etc.) are overpowered and overpriced.

  14. All depends on the make.. I have a Bradford White and it is SILENT.. had it for 2 years and no problems.. Parents have a Bosch that requires no electricty.. 13 years later its still going. would NEVER go to a tank again

  16. This product sucks!! The heat exchanger eventually leaks & the noise from the fan is way too loud when running full tilt!! I've had several of them & can tell you first hand - it's a great concept - but horribly made - and far less maintenance free then other units out there!! DON'T BUY ONE unless you don't mind replacing the heat exchanger 1 to 2 times a year depending on your use!! Just my opinion!!
